-Spitfire IX MH415/DV-G and MH603/FN-B, for those without the benefit of Farcebook!
On a related note, anyone know the origin/ID of the ex-Canadian Hurricane now flying in Aus? The fin makes a brief appearance in the photo set Daz posted, and I've seen photos of it elsewhere too...

-The Aussie Hurricane's original identity is RCAF 5481. The airframe was recovered from a farm in Canada in the early-mid 1980's, and then was sent to England and restored to fly for then owner Charles Church. Registered as G-ORGI, it first flew following restoration in September 1991. It was sold soon thereafter to Davide Price, who had the aircraft shipped to California where it was operated on a limited basis (first from Chino and later at Camarillo) and painted in the markings of Geoffrey Page. The aircraft was sold to Ed Russell in the early 2000's and based at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada (where for several years it was operated on a regular basis), until being sold in 2013 and shipped to Australia in early 2014. Following close inspection, the aircraft underwent rather extensive maintenance and restoration for the next two years, flying again in October 2016. It is registered as VH-JFW.

They're both looking good - hopefully flying this year?
