    Spitfire Door Drawing

I wonder if anyone has a clear copy of the attached drawing of the Spitfire Door or even better one of the locking mechanism.

Thanks Ross, should have known you would have it. I am making my door and have an assortment of parts including some via Shapeways.

If need any photos, please by all means have a look at my Flickr album, as was instrumental in making a replica door for the Museum in Monaghan, Eire.

I have been attempting to work out the exact position of the handle to lock the door. Today on checking photographs I came across this...... Bingo! Its a early Mk1 which is what I am working on. So no need for rods, plates and the handle!

Yes the MkI is a different setup to the later types. There has been some research done on them on here.
