-OTC = Officer Training Corps. The Army equivalent to the University Air Squadrons.

-Would TPE2 possibly be a reference to Public Entry which I think referred to Public schools?

-Many thanks for the helpful responses - I still haven't got to the bottom of TPE2 (although Public Entry sounds on the right track) but will post on another forum and see what I get.

Hello, would anybody familiar with Air Ministry terminology of the early 1940s be able to tell me what these are (in bold and all in relation to University Air Squadrons):-
The Squadron came under the direct control of Air Ministry TPE2 (????) until early 1942, when it was transferred to Air Ministry TUAS (?????). T
It was a requirement during the war, that undergraduate students join one of the service organisations while they were at the University. Glasgow University had the OTC (????)
on ground instruction in service subjects similar to that carried out at the ITWs (????) of the Royal Air Force
Many thanks for assistance
