Hi folks,

Is Canberra Crazy forum no more? There was some info on there I sorely need!

Regarding the Canberra part number format: XXX-YY-ZZZ where X is the model, Y is where or what system it is and ZZZ is the identifier does anyone have the list of what the YY numbers are? There was a thread on the forum but never downloaded the info!

Thanks
Ash

Hi Ash
It would be interesting for you to have a look through some Canberra A.P's (Air Publications). I do not know if stuff like that still turns up on ebay ??
If you have a part number you can look it up in the 'Index of Part Numbers' (AP101B-0402-3?) which will x-refer you to the 'Illustrated Parts Catalogue' (AP 101B-0402-3A) and show you exactly what the part is and where it is fitted in the aircraft.(generally the AP 4 digit number is a/c [basic] mark specific so 0402 = B2)

So for an item marked EA 3 -10 - 1091

EA 3 = B2....
-10 - 1091 means it is an item from the Front Fuselage

Is this the list you are after ?

-00- General Assemblies
-04- Electric Equipment (modified)
-10- Front Fuselage
-11- Centre Fuselage
-12- Rear Fuselage
-15- Canopy
