Back in the 1950s I made 1/144 scale models of one or two jet aircraft, including a Vampire Trainer and a Seahawk. They were not flying models, just ornamemts really. In 2016 I was on holiday in Malta and visited the air museum there. The first aircraft I saw there were a Vampire Trainer and a Seahawk, just as I had modelled them when I was in my teens. That really was a weird experience.
