    Post War Crew Classifications

I wondered if anyone could advise on when crew classifications were introduced and when they changed from Non-Combat, Combat, Combat Star, Select, Select Star to Non-Operational, Operational, Combat, Senior, Command.

I know that Combat Star was introduced in February 1955, but I have no firm dates for the others, nor when the classifications were changed

Any supporting documents relating to this subject would be welcome

    Regards

    Pete
