This must be a 'modern' pic (?) because I do not recognise the steel building behind the Bulldog.

Didn't attend the photoshoot, but heard that the decision to have no engines running was taken at the last minute by the airfield safety officer. Health and safety reasons apparently! Mustn't have us poor soles walking into moving props, its for our own good you know.
I was at Old Warden two weeks ago, and they had put up a tape barrier not allowing you to go into the grass public enclosure area up by the fence, because as it was pilots refresher week and a number of aircraft were flying the CAA might construed it was a flying display, unless they restricted this area. Its not airside!
I feel like I'm choking from all of this crap.

If anyone has a copy of A History of Royal Air Force Northolt 90th Anniversary Edition from yonks ago and no longer wants it, I'd be very pleased to receive it. Willing to refund P & P.
