I had an email from Tim, he is recovering from a fracture of his spine..

It must have been one hell of a buzz for a young bloke to strap one of those on his back, providing that he didn't worry about carbon monoxide and the tail falling off.

I seem to recall it was a different sort of buzz that really worried the Typhoon pilots, but Tim has a large family so I think we can put that myth to bed!
