I am looking for a Curtiss OX 5 engine or a Peugeot V8 6 litre quad cam engine from WW1 to rebuild for a customer. Any condition considered.

One can see the 90 HP Curtiss OX-5's engines all day long on ebay with approx. 10,000 engines manufactured with new engines still being sold / used into 1930's! While the Peugeot, with 400 engines manufactured and used mainly in one WW-1 aircraft the Voisin bomber I have yet to see any of the DOHC Peugeot 200 HP engines with only 2 know to exist for sale!

So one has to say lots of luck finding a Peugeot! Why not a SOHC Hispano, or the Wright V-8 based on the Hispano that they manufactured during WW-1 or Wolseley Viper

Borgeson, G.: The Classic Twin-Cam engine 1981 book has chapter on this aero engine and why not put into production in greater numbers.

I don't know if they have complete engines, but anyone who rebuilds Jennys must know something.

You don't tell us if it MUST be an OX5 or Peugeot.
When you need something that is rare/expensive or unobtainable, think about alternatives.
Jennys used other engines than the OX-5, so would an OXX-6 or Hisso be acceptable?
If they were close/good enough for the aircraft in period, would they be good enough for your purpose?
