    P. V. Wood Killed in action 613 Squadron 14/04/45

    Can anyone give me anymore details of the loss of this pilot in 1945? Is there an information about what caused the loss of the aircraft or what operations he had flown before the night he failed to return? Any additional details greatly appreciated for his family.

    All I can find you is what is listed on the CWGC site which you probably already know

    WOOD, PERCY VICTOR Flight Lieutenant 114652 DoD 15/04/1945 Age 25 Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve

    Mosquito crew member with 2 Group, killed a tragically short time before the end of the war in circumstances that led to his body not being identified.
