Not really because each item is dated so I suppose it corresponds to a number of "this day in history" programmes which bring alive an event of a particular day to the present.
It is certainly a damn good website!

There are some fascinating and astonishing stories here but few to cap that of Captain Harer's hairaising rescue and escape with injuries and burns 50 years ago yesterday! I noted he was still alive in 2005 and would be 90 now.
