As the cafe which has been established in the station building at Tettenhall is being formally opened on Sunday 21st September, the Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre will be open too. Come along and see what progress we are making towards establishing Wolverhampton's first transport museum. The latest exhibit to be moved in, is the 'electric Leonides'. It's an Alvis Leonides with only one pot, restored by a guy named Steve Dorrance, and operates from a 12 volt battery. Steve placed it on permanent loan with us, just before he died last year. It needs TLC and to be converted to run off the mains, so if anyone would like to volunteer for that little job.........
