Using nothing more than a few decades of scraping knuckles on various aeroplanes, the heavy mechanism is very much like an undercarriage lock, no idea what aircraft though......

The attached are two pieces of aircraft equipment. Beyond that, nothing more is known of them! Any ideas or suggestions as to what they might be/which aircraft they might have come from would be most appreciated.
