Hello,
I have been asked by a friend of the family to try and find out as much as I can about one of their relatives that served with the RAF during the Second World War and I'm hoping that someone here will be able to supply more information.
His name was Richard Eugene Barr and he was killed in action on the 30th June 1942 whilst flying with 149 Squadron out of Mildenhall. His service number was 1203767 and he was an air gunner.
This is all the information that his family hold on the gentleman and they would dearly love to find out more about him.
Best wishes,
Martin
