-Gazelle, ex XX432, was spotted this morning...seen passing overhead Gunby Hall & Gardens, E. Lincs 11:41am routing WNW. Returning 12noon, passing to the North of us.

-Local based T67 fire fly G-BUUE was about in the Nottm City Airport circuit and poping in for fuel was the Lincs/Notts air ambulance.

-Didn't see it myself, but the Chinook in at Southend this afternoon "Vortex 500" was ZD574

-not spotted with the naked eye, but 2 Douglas A-4N Skyhawks N431FS and N434FS on flightradar24. Buzzing around now at 16,000 to 19,000ft over Germany, SW of Bremen.

-Chipmunk just did a quick circle above my office in Ampthill. Couldn't see the colour scheme, but at a guess I'd say it was G-BCGC/WP903 from Henlow as that's been over here before and it headed off that way.

-I did see Jet provost T5 XW299 being trucked down the A34 near Newbury this morning. As ever it was going the opposite way to me, southbound!

-First Merlin of 2014...Hurricane flying N over Barford St John, Oxon, about 2000ft at 12.05, 02/02/14.
Any clues as to who/which/where to?

-The Hanger 11 Hurricane did a flyby at Duxford this afternoon so this was certainly up and about.

-Not historic...yet....but spotted solo Tornado, very low level, about midday 13th Feb, W of Barford St John, turning North. Subsequently reported on the BBC as carrying out imaging of the floods in the Thames valley. Didn't spot the Sentinel at 40, 000ft apparently doing the same thing though!

-A couple of civvie types flying out of Thruxton this afternoon, at 14.50 A Grumman American GA-7 Cougar G-GOTC[ATTACH=CONFIG]225629[/ATTACH] flew over Andover and 20 minutes later a Piper PA-28-161 Warrior II G-MSFT did too.[ATTACH=CONFIG]225630[/ATTACH]

-Two Bi-planes possibly WW1 Era in formation, quite low over Chelsfield on Wednesday. Possible camera or film sortie with some Dogfighting?

Hi all aviators, armchair or aloft. Let us see what will be spotted in the skies above our heads in 2013. Historic/Vintage/Warbird/Rare/Interesting ! we all love to see them and it gives a heads up to others as to what where and when. Maybe 2014 will bring its first spotted below ground level, (2013 void of this) shhssssssss.
I think we should all give a massive thank you to all the operators of these flying machines who without you would only see in museums, or more than likely not. Now I would like to wish all of you a happy and Aviationous 2014. TA
