This is a pretty good buy on US eBay (Buy it Now) for $100us. S2F wheel with all switches...in need of some cosmetics.

Thanks Swifter, on it's way to the UK. At the other end of the expense scale, have you seen this very nice, but imaginatively priced collection? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aircraft-Co...AAAOSw-sZa5e8a

First post here, have really enjoyed this thread over the years! Looking for some help id'ing the manufacturer of the grip used on the Argentinian A-4AR Fightinghawk. I am also curious as to whether anyone has any other A-4 grips they'd be willing to part with.

Welcome Wantmore. Most A4 grips are made by Mason. Or should I say were?
I see it is an upgrade. The grip still looks like Mason, but with Apache flavour. My suggestion is still Mason made by Esterline who took them over and also made Apache controls

My eBay wild card turned up today, not sure what to make of it, luckily I found various numbers stamped on the side which look promising, the seller obviously didn't see them. The numbers are as follows:

                  Page
                  D380-07-0 then it is either a 0 or a 6 or an 8?
                  AR 1429 137

Does anyone know what it's off please?

                  Keeping my fingers crossed!

Trying to upload photos at but having problems uploading at the mo.

Still luck uploading pics, not sure whey, when I hit the upload button the box goes blank and nothing happens?? I have tried uploading a very small file in the case the photos are too big and that doesn't work either.

                      Will keep trying!

I have stopped posting photographs on here, too much hassle.

Three or four years ago I had significant problems getting the photo upload to work. I did bring it forum management's attention. They could not find any problem. Then, a month or so later, >poof<, the photo upload feature worked again. I uploaded the image below in the usual way...no apparent problems.

The Convair 880 wheel/cap/clipboard are a recent buy. Wasn't cheap but it's not every day a Convair trifecta shows up on Ebay....in excellent condition.

Nice yoke Nick from a great first generation jet passenger plane, Original coating and the elusive centre cap make it a fantastic purchase. Only 65 ships built and apparently so named because it travelled at 880 feet per second. I have never seen a CV880 in British skies but did have the pleasure of flying in a CV990 once from Spain to the UK. The later and more powerful CV990 supposedly being the second fastest passenger plane built only being surpassed by Concorde. The Spantax Spanish pilots who flew the CV990 in large numbers called it ‘The Maserati of the Skies’ . I believe the later CV990 was fitted with the same yoke too. Incidentally Elvis Presley had his own private 880 named the ‘Lisa Marie’. Great item, well done !

Hello... Like Ian, I just got one of the (extremely reasonably priced) USN S2F yokes. It's in great shape, with a little 'weathering'... The question, I guess, as always, is where can I get a Grumman centre cap to finish it off? Does anyone have any ideas? Or perhaps one to sell?

                                  Regards,

                                  Phil

Original Grumman centre caps are few and far between in availability no doubt due to them being a rather attractive centre cap. Next best option would be a replica, try this guy he has in the past produced reproduction Grumman centre caps, although he is not currently advertising any, I’m sure if he gets enough enquiries he will run up another batch, his eBay ID seller is :bjahih85

I want to say right away that the project consists of two parts! The first part is a copy using a silicone mold and an epoxy component. And the second is professional copy in 3d space
