-Isn't Bowden usually associated with cables and winches? Maybe a control lever for such an application?!
Rob
Edit.. Bowden brakes of Tyseley. Manufacturer of bicycle brakes. Not sure if they made anything else.

-Hi Rob
Bowden made various levers & cable fittings etc, for use in aircraft from the very early days, through to WW2 etc "camera controls, throttle, gun firing etc etc".

-I believe the latter item is a bomb arming fuse (Type no. 4 TI). 3/18 is the date of manufacture (i.e. March 1918). You may get a more specific answer here.Rob.
Cheer's Rob.
I'll see if they can help to identify which bomb types it may have been for.

I believe that one is something to do with an aircraft camera, & marked Bowden Tyseley, the other appears to be off of a bomb of some sort, & is marked No 4 TI 3/18.
Any ideas ?.
They are available for exchange if they are of use to someone.
