Hi.

First post for me on this forum and help is required to identify a wooden propellor.

My father in law acquired a wooden propeller when he was at Rencombe (?) College Gloucester. The woodwork tutur wanted it cut up and burnt, but he said if they are to get rid of it he would keep it. This prop has been carted around the country by his dad as he never got round to displaying it. It has now been passed on to my wife.

We have no idea what it is from. I have looked on the wooden propellor website but could not identify it from the info on there. I have spoken to the RAF museum at Cosford and thet directed us to this website. If anybody could help identify I would be very grateful.

The propeller has the following markings;
DRG.S4C36
DIA 5-6
PITCH 4#3? (# = unidentifiable figure, figure 3 very vague).
2194
9-2-25

I will try and get some photos to up load later.

Many thanks.

Gav.
