I'm looking for some info on the training units that used the above in the
late 1940's/early 1950's.
I know that No.1 (Pilots) Refresher Flying Unit, Finningley used them in 1949,
the all-over Airframe Silver with yellow bands and black anti-dazzle suits
the XVI so well and also the CGS.
Has anyone any info/photos of any other so-painted Spit XVI's ?
I have the ICM 1/48th Spit XVI kit that I'd like to do as a post war
training unit a/c.
