I'm building a model of the Arrow and there is an issue with the wing that I cannot resolve and I wonder if anyone out there can help?
There is, I believe, a transport joint in line with the slot in the leading edge and ther appears to be a strip running fore and aft which covers it. The one on the model scales out at close to an inch, which is ridiculous, but does anyone know how thick it actually was?
The pictures below are taken from what purport to be Avro drawings and the 'Arrow' book from Boston Mills Press. The front view makes it look thin but it does not appear on the wing section drawing.
I know this is a trivial matter and that I should 'get a life' but...
Please help this man
