Although I had seen it before, I watched it again - but this time I noticed something new....
Near the end, when Ewan McGregor got a flight in the two-seater, there were a few shots taken from his front looking rearwards over his shoulders.
In all those shots, the elevators were clearly pitched down - you could see the horn balances(?) pointing upwards.
Is this normal ?? - or is it just unique to the two seater ??
Was it pitched down to keep it straight and level in formation with the BBMF Spitfire & Hurricane ??
Just curious.....

The excellent BBC documentary 'The Battle Of Britain' with the McGregor brothers is being repeated tonight on BBC2 at 9pm . Highly recommended as I'm pretty sure it has some air to air footage of the Lanc ?
