    Low Level Blenheim Raid

I received a collection of cuttings recently and this was among them, annoyingly there is no date on the paper. Could anyone shed any further light on the possible date of this raid?

Probably 16-7-1941, a low-flying attack on the ships in Rotterdam harbour (http://www.studiegroepluchtoorlog.nl...-16-juni-1941/)

There were two large scale Blenheim attacks on Rotterdam docks - 16th July and 28th August 1941. This sequence of photos is believed to be from the second attack in which 17 Blenheims of 21, 88 and 226 Squadrons took part - seven failed to return.

Correct. The Oranjefontein (the ship in the foto in the link) was damaged in the first raid, and sunk on the second (as well as several other ships). It was later raised and taken to Kiel for repairs, and returned to Rotterdam after the war.

Losses of both raids may be found here: http://www.defensie.nl/media/verlies...m46-154751.pdf
