According to the report the Skyraider pilot also received minor injuries. I find that hard to beleive.

Big credit to Rob Davies, the cockpit evacution procedure he had practiced certainly paid dividends, the old adage of PPPPPP (Prior Planning Prevents P*ss Poor Performance) comes to mind.
