No I saw the DC-6 but only as we taxied out and it was too far away. There was also an Ethiopian Air Force AN-12 and some ex Air Force Daks with RRC Air but unable to photograph any. It was just too risky and could really only photo anything that taxied past. There were about 10 Aeroflot AN-12s one of which I shot as it taxied past. There was also an AN-26 serial 586 with code DD of an airforce that I did not recognise with red black and gold diamond insignia, East German ??

Two Libyan Arab Air Force AN-26s in Addis Ababa in Dec. 1984. Photos taken under a bit of pressure as men with big guns were not keen on any photography. What they were really upset with was me photographing an Aeroflot TU-154 ! There was a civil war on at the time with Eritrea, interesting visit.
