No takers? A clue then: this is a microlight that has nothing to do with a four-engined post-war British airliner, except its name.

Now just let me think. Are there any microlights going under the name of Apollo, Carvair, York, Tudor, Lancastrian, Lincolnian, Concorde, Beverly, Brabazon, Brittania, Comet, Halifax, Argosy, Marathon, Merchantman, Sandringham, Solent, Belfast, Viscount, Vanguard or VC10? No, I don't think so. Well, you've got me stumped, Laurence!

None of those, mon ami! Think piston power, and it was the tricycle version of a well-loved RAF transport (in which I once flew to Gibraltar as an ATC cadet!) and is related to the Greek messenger-god.

Based purely on the clues, is it the Prevot Hermes?

Hermes is right. If you want to see one that flies:

Could this be a rare photo of the Breda Ba.46?

This one was roadable and had a delta wing with downward hinging outer wing panels. The pusher prop turned in a slot. Only briefly tested.
