Sorry, I don't know a good source - am also interested!

So far I know only some common aspects -
engines named 'Ansaldo San Giorgio':

4E. 145, 300 hp, six-cylinder vertical water-cooled, (S.17, S.21)
4E. 284, 450 hp, twelve-cylinder 60-degree Vee-type water-cooled (S.12)
4E. 29, 550 hp, twelve-cylinder Vee-type water-cooled (S.12bis, S.19)

and Diesel engines
2C-255
2C-259

Cheers Martin, so you see my interest, all seem to have been fitted to Schneider racers.

Anyone got photos, dimensions or other info?

... but only once an Ansaldo San Giorgio equipped S.12 won -
1920-Venecia-Savoia S.12 (Italia)- Luigi Bologna- 172.54 km/h

Hello A. and M.
I have emailed you both, two photos of pages on Ansaldo San Giorgio engines, from Aerosphere 1939. I hope it is of some interest and use. :)
