I must admit though, that the Paddington Bear phenomenon, somehow passed me by.
By the time he became popular I would have been a little too old, and by the time he appeared on TV, a lot too old.

-They did the same sort of promotion when the first Paddington Bear film was released in 2014.

With the new Paddington Bear movie 'PADDINGTON 2' about to hit the big screens soon and as the film *SPOILER ALERT* revolves around a pop-up book, 5 Paddington Bear pop-up books have popped up around London. One is at Paddington Station, obviously, one is near the O2 arena and the three others are reasonably close together along the Thames at More London near City Hall, Bankside near Tate Modern and Peter's Hill near St Paul's Cathedral. What surprised me was that adults eagerly wanted their photographs taken with the Bear but kids were very reluctant. They are in place until the end of November.
