      Hi All,
Watched another low budget horror called 'Exists' filmed from one of the victims point of view with video cam and go-pro camera work. In wiki it describes the film as a found footage film but being as it is from the sole survivors main point of view IMHO that's wrong. Not a bad watch but not everybody's taste either, just watch once then move on... Starring:-Dora Madison Burge,Chris Osborn,Roger Edwards,Denise Williamson,Samuel Davis Brian Steele,Jeff Schwan,George P. Gakoumis Jr and Stefanie Sanchez.

Five friends travel to a remote cabin in the woods and plan to record their entire weekend. Their party plans are quickly ruined when they realize the property is in the middle of Bigfoot's territory, and it is not happy to have trespassers.

I saw another Bigfoot-related film notso long back - Willow Creek. Again, it's a "found footage" film, but only has two main characters in it, and has a nail-biting 20 minute scene involving the two in a tent while Bigfoot lurks outside. Pretty damn good.

          Hi All,
          Daz,
I watched a while back not bad but thought it could have been better just a watch once and move on film, the found footage is getting a little worn out I think but like myself if your into all that good fun......

I watched 'Big Eyes' (Available via Sky Movies) last night was a good enjoyable film based on the true story of those famous paintings with those massive eyes that everybody must have seen by now. See if you can spot the actual Mrs Keane as a cameo Starring:- Amy Adams,Christoph Waltz,Danny Huston,Jon Polito,Krysten Ritter,Jason Schwartzman,Terence Stamp,Madeleine Arthur and Delaney Raye.

In the late 1950s and early '60s, artist Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz) achieves unbelievable fame and success with portraits of saucer-eyed waifs. However, no one realizes that his wife, Margaret (Amy Adams), is the real painter behind the brush. Although Margaret is horrified to learn that Walter is passing off her work as his own, she is too meek to protest too loudly. It isn't until the Keanes' marriage comes to an end and a lawsuit follows that the truth finally comes to light.

            Hi All,
Watched the Sci-Fi Drama Exmachina last night (Sky Movies) a really good watchable story about A.I. without the myriad of Cgi that often accompanies Sci-Fi these days, just great acting from the cast with a good ending well recommended...
            Starring:-Domhnall Gleeson,Alicia Vikander,Oscar Isaac,Sonoya Mizuno,Symara A. Templeman,Elina Alminas,Gana Bayarsaikhan,Tiffany Pisani,
            Claire Selby and Corey Johnson.

The story of programmer Caleb Smith (Gleeson) who is invited by his employer, the eccentric billionaire Nathan Bateman (Isaac), to administer the Turing test to an android with artificial intelligence, named Ava (Vikander).

                Hi All,
Watched Unbroken last night while I enjoyed the film I do feel there were a couple of grumbles that could have been easily sorted out before release but overall very well made considering the true story it was based on. The 1st grumble is when the three survivors are in the dinghy's for 28 days only the ginger nut had what I would have called adequate facial growth the other two seems to have hardly any, what they had seemed a little to well groomed with makeup trying to hide the lack of growth.
The second was at the end trying to copy the original photo (That is shown in the end credits) of Zamparini hugging I assume his mother alongside what looks like a B-25, this was replaced for some reason with what looked like a Beech C-45. Considering that the B-25 are sill extent especially in the US why when the cost of standing next to an original would be negligible compared to the C-45. I know that artist licence is present and that films are merely the directors interpretation of the source material but when it's a true biopic surely the director has a duty to be correct in all detail ? Apart from that I enjoyed it...

                Starring:-Jack O'Connell,C.J. Valleroy,Domhnall Gleeson,Garrett Hedlund,Miyavi,Finn Wittrock,Jai Courtney,Luke Treadaway,Travis Jeffery,Jordan Patrick,
                John Magaro,Alex Russell,John D'Leo,Vincenzo Amato,Louis McIntosh,Ross Anderson,Maddalena Ischiale,Morgan Griffin,Savannah Lamble and Sophie Dalah.

The film is based on a true World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. A 2014 American historical-biographical-sports-drama-war film produced and directed by Angelina Jolie, and based on the 2010 non-fiction book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. The film revolves around the life of USA Olympian and athlete Louis "Louie" Zamperini, portrayed by Jack O'Connell. Zamperini survived in a raft for 47 days after his bomber crash lands in the ocean during World War II, then was sent to a series of prisoner of war camps.

A Featurette about the story behind the film and the making of the film.

Cant wait to watch that when it pops onto Sky Movies The movie was stuck in the doldrums for many years then they had Ryan Reynolds play Deadpool in an X-Men film with his mouth taped over ?????? That is what started the ball rolling with Ryan putting his own money where his mouth is, he was promoting and pitching the film etc.etc.etc. to the studios. The film as you know which the makers put out a great advertising marketing campaign and the rest is history Deadpool 2 coming soon......

                            Hi All Again,
Wednesday night I tried unsuccessfully to watch what was billed as a comedy 'Idiocracy' via (Sky Movies) I got about 30mins into it then turned off absolute tripe, not one I would recommend at all Having said that my taste in comedy is probably different from yours at the end of the day you can only give it a go.. Starring:-Luke Wilson,Maya Rudolph,Dax Shepard,Terry Crews,David Herman,Justin Long,Andrew Wilson,Brad "Scarface" Jordan,Thomas Haden Church,Stephen Root,Tom Kenny,Sara Rue and Randal Reeder.

Five hundred years after signing up for a military cryogenic experiment, Private Joe Bauers (Luke Wilson) wakes up to find that he's the smartest guy on the planet. It's survival of the thickest as Joe discovers that evolution is no match for human stupidity in a country where IQs are so low that they've elected a pro-wrestling, ex-porn star as president. Mike Judge - creator of Beavis and Butt-head and King of the Hill - takes a well-aimed pop at the dumbing down of Western society in an overlooked but chucklesome satire.

                                    Hi All,
I watched the much panned (2015)Fantastic Four (Sky Movies) While watchable there are a couple of scenes from the trailer that are not in the film ? and I would agree the film falls flat in the last 1/3, as the introduction of Doom is not quite sticking with the comic book and is killed off at the end ? He is one of the FF's main archenemy's throughout their history, having said these things I realise that films are interpretations of their source material. One thing that did bother me a little is Johnny Storm (Human Torch) in the comic he learns to control the flaming on his body by uttering Flame On/Off this was never in the film instead the character wore a suit with a button ? At the end of the day you either like it or not....

Transported to an alternate universe, four young outsiders gain superhuman powers as they alter their physical form in shocking ways. Reed Richards becomes Mr. Fantastic, able to stretch and twist his body at will, while pal Ben Grimm gains immense strength as the Thing. Johnny Storm becomes the Human Torch, able to control and project fire, while his sister Sue becomes the Invisible Woman. Together, the team must harness their new abilities to prevent Doctor Doom from destroying the Earth.
