        Hi All,
Lone Survivor-Crimbo night. Mark Wahlburg and Eric Banna.Good enjoyable film based on a true story, could enjoy a second time around as the film is quite fast paced.

Salmon Fishing In The Yemen-last night. Ewen McGregor,Emily Blunt,Kristin Scott Thomas Enjoyed considering it's romantic film basically, funny in places but well worth a watch.

          Hi All,
Aftermath - An independent film of what it would be like after a nuclear attack and the resulting fallout, a group of people cooped up down a cellar trying to survive till the all clear is given, not fantastic but watchable if you like that type of Drama.

The last movie I've had the chance to watch has been How to Train Your Dragon 2 with the little one. She can't wait for the third installment.

                    Expendables 3

Fun, but could have done with some decent bloodshed and naughty words!

                    Vamp

Three college boys go on a trip to find an awesome stripper in order to blag their way into a fraternity. They wind up in a strip joint filled with vampires instead. Underrated vampire classic.

Not a bad film, but the book is far better.

I don't think so. Jaws and Misery being two examples where the film is far better. You could add The Mist to that, too. Bound to be others.

I think I'm in agreement with Charlie on this one. I always seem to find the books better. In the case of Flight Of The Intruder I think the main problem is that, while it is still recognisable as the same story, it only covers about a third of the book.
