    Gone Girl
Excellent till the last ten minutes when all the police except one do a good imitation of Barney Fife.

      Hi All,
Willow Creek - Very disappointing found footage type film almost to the point of boredom, Couple venture into the Patterson/Gimmlin Bigfoot sighting area to do a documentary etc.etc.etc. fast forward to the last 15 or so minutes that is when things happen and then it over in a flash.

      Geoff.

Funnily enough, someone at work mentioned that film earlier. Was considering checking it out.

Anyway, the last film I watched was ROBOCOP - the original and best!

          Hi All,
47 Ronin - Keanu Reeves. Based around a true story with added extras but just the right mix of everything and one you could watch again and still enjoy it excellent film.

            Piranha

Not a bad film at all.

Worse than that I bought the DVD..... God it sucks.

Watched Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow, enjoyed it, it's a SciFi film with aliens invading Earth , but done in a Groundhog Day style format.

The Pledge - a Sean Penn film with Jack Nicholson. Very good.

A Most Wanted Man. Good adaptation of Le Carre novel with a marvellous and tragically almost final Seymour Hoffman performance.

Interstellar. Ignore the plot holes and concentrate on the wormhole and black hole. A remarkable, spectacular, thought provoking film in Christopher Nolan tradition.

Why did they give the robot an arm to fly the spaceship? Haven't they heard of WiFi!

                                    A New York Winter's Tale

Colin Farrell plays an Irishman whose destiny seems to be intertwined with a frail red-headed girl with whom he falls in love. Russell Crowe plays a demon out to thwart his efforts.

Not sure what to think of this one. Will have to watch it again.

War Horse - for what is at least the twentieth time!

Batman - none of this Christopher Nolan nonsense, either. The Tim Burton original with Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Still an awesome film!

                                        Hi All,
The Seasoning House - Sean Pertwee meant to be a horror but very disappointing for such an underrated actor preferred his Dog Soldiers horror flick.

Why thank you sorry you never enjoyed Godzilla but have saved me from watching it (I think ) I could be tempted now just out of sheer interest as a couple of reviews raved about it ??????
