-I like the ScooterCaffe in Lwr Marsh St, Waterloo near the Ian Allan bookshop...not a pub and you might not like the funky counterculture vibe but the coffee and cake are excellent and they have bottled beer it seems

-Last time I went over 5 years ago I went to The Three Stags which is on the opposite corner to the entance. A typical Londing drinking pub with good lunchtime meals

-+1. It seemed a decent boozer when Mrs S & I popped in after visiting the museum a couple of years ago. Can't vouch for the food, since we didn't try it, but the beer was in good nick.

I need to go down to the Imperial War Museum in London to do a bit of research. Can anyone suggest a decent ‘watering hole’ in the area that does a decent pint and a spot of lunch?
