-It's called Catdaddy...with moonshine written under it and 'XXX' inscribed on the bottle.
I'll stick to the Scottish highlands thanks.

-That's about as near to whisky as a bacon butty. Once you have tasted a few Highland Malts, nothing else comes close.

-I know our Scottish friends wont like me for this, but:

They havent been going for long, so the whisky is a little on the light side, but its extremely promising.
Must go and get some more....
Anyway, I always thought our American cousins produced 'Whiskey'....!

-The Penderyn Single Malt is as good, if not better, than many Scottish Malts!
By: 17th July 2011 at 12:29 Permalink - Edited 1st January 1970 at 01:00
-Penderyn Single Malt is alright, nothing spectacular though.

-I am pleased for you but I am an old traditionalist when it comes to malts. In any case Penderyn has hardly had time to develop any maturity.

-Hmmm... everyone appears to be dismissing this stuff without actually trying it... So your protests are invalid ;)

That's the Irish spelling which has crossed the Atlantic as a function of the Americans love of all things Irish and picturesque - witness Noraid and its funding of the quaint ole IRA to enable them to blow more 'Oirish' civilians into bloody pieces with quaint and picturesque ol' Semtex.

I love Highland Park! My favourite whisky for a special occasion though is Glenfiddich 15 - a good one to have in for Christmas.
