Beating up airstrips

Yes its fun, you know the scene ..an uncontrolled airstrip in the country,just a few folks that you chatted to before you left, they watch you depart having enjoyed a friendly chat and perhaps a sticky bun and a tea.
Well why not say thanks by surprising them with a low beat up before you finally depart to that over controlled concrete airport where you are based.
"250 feet over the threshold ,speed steady,pulling up and away you go , boy that was fun"

Meanwhile the local off airstrip neighbours are picking up the phone to tell the strip owner that this is the final straw,what the hell is going on? And gradually the GA flyers loose another destination by thoughtless selfish activity.

Its not fiction, today I heard from a friend at a Midlands airstrip where an AN2 caused this reaction. So resist the urge to disturb the peace at the airstrips,its easy to spoil the good will and gives the aircraft haters easy ammunition.
