-This is bad luck for the owner- it is not his fault if some plonker attempts to land a big Cessna twin (421) on what is little more than an ambitious farm-strip.
At least this has happened at the start of winter, rather than the spring.

-The owner voluntarily closed it for two months after the Old Buckenham PA28 overran the runway last week according to the local Radio station.

-I do feel sorry for the owner, especially as he is getting the blame from speculators, leave him alone, he was in hospital a lot earlier this year, it just goes to show you how idiotic some pilots really are. By the way if you want the airports website its: http://www.chris.gurney.co.uk/

Just heard that Northrepps has been closed for two months in light of a safety review that is about to take place after the second landing accident in 11 days and several others over recent years.
