I had a quick fly of a C42 last year, and was also very impressed. Controls are a bit strange, especially the flaps and throttle, although the latter may come naturally :D
I really liked this aeroplane, biggest problem is staying within the load limits.

Was at Tannheim this year and saw around 40 of them, so nice colours other than white too..

I got to fly one of these for half an hour tonight at Popham and what a great little aeroplane. Powerful, fun to fly, very capable and well, fun.
They now have four at Popham for training and I was very impressed. The controls were a little heavy compared to the Rearwin (I loved writing that bit) but it was very easy to control and would not take much getting used to.
