-Have you ever noticed that if you were to remove the top wing, the Pitts would look just like a mini-Spitfire?

-£150 ain't too bad, about what I was expecting.
I also just thought it'd be a great birthday present for the other half. (See, it's not just a guy thing! ;))

-The girlfriend wanted to try skydiving for her 18th (went microlighting instead)...
This should be the ideal follow-up ;)
I wonder if anywhere in Scotland does this, too? (To cut out the cost of travelling to the other end of the country).

-If you fancy something a lot faster and more agile than a Pitts, try the Extras at Kemble. They specialise in the "Top Gun Experience".

I see no elliptical wing. I see no oil coolers. I see no Merlin. I see no ... tell me when to stop.

My mate Mark* won a trip with them in a PC Pilot comp, highly recommended. Plus you get some stick time.
* i'm just about speaking to him again :)

-I had to work very hard to resist them at the London Air Show. Mr and Mrs Cubin are very persuasive, and I have to admit that, after my tailwheel rating is done, I will be going to play with Ultimate High's toys.
Well... it'd be rude not to.... ;)

Just discussing something at work about Tom Cruise apparently having a bash in a US-based Pitts two-seater, and it reminded me that I've always wanted to have a flight in one!
Is there anywhere I can do this in the UK? Are there any places where you can book, say, a 30-min aerobatic flight in one?
