Hi All,

Did anyone see Grand Designs last week?
The builder in question basically wanted to build a new, larger workshop in which to build his homebuilt aeroplane, and extended the plans to a whole house.
They did show some of the aircraft under construction and one or two photos of what it should end up like. Not being an expert on homebuilts I didn't recognize it, but it was plans built almost entirely of wood.
Can anyone identify it?
That and the flying one at the start?

You can view the episode on 4oD here Grand Designs. It is the one named 'Milton Keynes'.

Cheers,
John

It has been suggested elsewhere that it is a Piel Emeraude

Thanks Moggy,
I did have a look around but couldn't find any mention.
The Emeraude looks like the one he flew at the beginning but not what he was building, any ideas?
