Hi,

I am an FAA instrument-rated pilot but I also hold my JAA commercial licence (single engine). I need for my FAA instrument rating to be converted to JAA and I would like to arrange for a multi-engine add-on for the CPL.

Since many of you on here fly in the UK, I am hoping that some will be able to recommend flying schools that might be able to assist with my training. I am currently in Reading, so the south of England would be preferred, but if I can make a saving by going elsewhere, then I am happy to do that.

Although I have already sent off several emails to enquire about pricing, I would really appreciate some input from those of you who have experience of flight training in the UK. Even though the quality of training is a huge factor, so is price, and, as stupid as it probably sounds - bearing in mind that flight training is ridiculously expensive - I would like to finish up my training without breaking the bank.

Thanks in advance.

I fly with Bonus aviation at Cranfield. I know they do the CPL and IR although I cant be too sure if they provide exactly what you're looking for. Have a look at their site anyway and maybe contact Jo and ask her..

Thanks a lot for your help.

Had a quick browse of the website and they seem to offer conversions, so I'll get an email off to them and see exactly what the damage is going to be! :D
