-this should solve your problem:
go into the folder for the aircraft, which is in the main aircraft folder of flight sim and look for a file called aircraft.cfg. open it in notepad, and scroll down until you find a section called [autopilot]. look down that until u find 'autothrottle_available=0'. change the 0 to 1.
also, look for 'autothrottle_arming_required='. its probably a 1 after the equals sign, but if its not, change it to '1'.
if you can't find either of those lines in the file, add them in under the [autopilot] section, with the values set at 1.
save and exit the file.
voila.

Hi FSimmers,
I have slight prob with my Dreamwings Dash-8. The Autothrottle won't activate. How could I go about fixing this. Should I get new sounds for it or a new panel? Help aprriciated.
