Does anyone know what this airline is like to fly with ?
Also will they be using A300's or MD83's from MAN over the summer, i am looking for something bit more unique than an A321 and going on an old Maccy D would be a far more fun ride.
Basically im probably going to be on a friday morning flight on 23rd july flying at 9am, is this probably an A321.

Weren't these guys banned from flying in the UK and some other countries in Europe a few years back? Poor maintenance etc...I stand to be corrected on this but petty sure they were.

Haven't they already retired their A300s? We only get to see A320/321s and the occaisional MD here.

I haven't seen a Onur Air A300 for quite a while now.

As others have said, their ops all seem to be A320/321 and DC9v.

I flew with them BFS - DLM - BFS on the 29th June 2009 departed at 22.10 and came home on the 5th July 2009 arrived back at 21:10, they are an ok airline, seats are better pitch than thomas cook, the only downsize is that there is no in flight entertainment just overhead screens showing you where you are / speed and alt. I added a pic of my flight and the screens. And yes OHY no longer opp the A300 i was on the A321-200, TC-OAL and TC-OAK

MD-80s retired

It is believed that Onur Air retired their last two MD-88s a few days ago. Three MD-88-sisterships were stored earlier. Onur Air operated ten MD-80s between 1997 and 2010 with one MD-82 being leased from bestair, five MD-88s and four MD-83s.

The company was the last costumer for the MD-88 and the last new costumer for MD-80s in Europe when it placed an order for five 172-seat MD-88s with five options in November 1995 for delivery in mid-1997.
