The flight was scheduled from Washington to Amsterdam, but the flight was cancelled.
Passengers got on another flight to Amsterdam, but had to wait overnight. The rest of the passengers who had to wait behind in the States caught the scheduled flight that was put back on, much to the dismay of the unaware passengers now stranded at Amsterdam, who had to catch a flight the next morning to Gatwick.
Real nightmare, and the friend who experiened this said she'd never travel NWA again. And she'd discourage everyone else from doing so too.
Regards

Hi All,
N641NW B747 NWA has just arrived, apparently diverted from Amsterdam.
It's currently parked on the 170s.
The date is Sunday 22nd July.
All the best
