Yeah from what i heard it wasn't a Airliner as such - apparantly it was a biz-jet about Learjet/Citation size - no bigger than a Falcon 2000.

Was the biz-jet based at Leeds/Bradford? I did my work experience at Multiflight a few years ago... They operate a Falcon 900B and a Citation VI, if I remember correctly... I think there's some other Citations, including a Citation X and I think some Learjets aswell. I didn't see the aircraft nearly clipping the ground.

A Delta Air Lines jet carrying 167 passengers from Atlanta swerved off a runway as it was landing at Dublin Airport on sunday morning. No damage or injuries were reported.
An airport spokeswoman said the MD-11 veered off the runway just after 8 a.m. and came to rest on the grass.
The airport was shut for 50 minutes after the incident and one of its two runways remained closed.

I guess its because of the awful weather we have been having in he UK and Ireland, winds of up to 65mph were recorded at Dublin airport, lucky nobody was hurt.Did anyone see that Buisness jet landing at Leeds on BBC news on friday,it was so close to hitting the runway!
