Not quite so luxurious on the inside as I had imagined...

I at first, thought this was a joke - but it would seem I was wrong. It's not a bad investment. Considering an apartment in London overlooking the Thames could cost £400,000 ($600,000) or even more, $290,000 (or £200,000) is a fair price!

Nice idea but I think it would be impossible in the Uk due to beaurocracy. Anyone have comments on the technical feasibility?

Check out the site, all the technical aspects are covered in detail, mounting column, bearing, water supply, electrical supply, sewage, the whole shooting match is described including links to the manufacturers of some of the components used in building the structures.

Yeah, I know the website describes it all - but it seems a bit of an amateurish site and it's such an outlandish idea...the immediate reaction is "fraud".
That's why I was interested in the technical feasibility.
