-Good stuff Peter, I popped along for a quick look after work at the Evergreen 747 and caught the broken C-130 the PIA arrival too. Just what kind of Herc is that anyway? Surveillance, electronic jamming or something ???

-Just what kind of Herc is that anyway?Looks like an MC-130E "Combat Talon" to me, Allen. Special Forces support is the usual mission for that mark of Herc.

Thanks Lance and double thanks for the reply on 'Military'. I found out a little more on A.net and the only picture of this particular machine on there too. I'm surprised the men in black weren't gathered around it today at GLA ? :D

Could be, or it's on a staging flight to or from Iraq ? PIK gets loads of such USAF visitors regularly.

after hearing about prestwick and despite the wind and rain i went to gla for some photos
heres a selection from today
not many due to bad weather
