I am sure advertising as such is not allowed on the forum so this is just to invite all who are interested to the launch for the Edinburgh Airport History book on Friday 21st April at 12.00 lunchtime. I have already been in touch with people who have helped me on the forum directly but all are welcome.
It will be at Books Etc on the mezzanine in the terminal. Food is not allowed due to health and safety regulations but there will be wine tea coffee laid on (I will lay in a couple of bottles of white lightning for the more discerning drinker).
I will be there most of the day as will Len Houston who wrote the section in the book on the Ferranti Flying Unit and provided most of the pictures for it. Len is the former Chief Test Pilot for the FFU and we both look forward to saying hello to everyone.
