Screen grab from the video camera pointing at the artificial horizon!

Hummmmmmm, with that showing on your artificial horizon (a 10° nose down) you would certainly be falling out of the sky quite fast! Without knowing the Jetstream, I would say it should be showing something like 5°+ up during a 60° banked turn. What was the purpose of this manouver? And can I have a picture of the airspeed indicator during said manouver as well please! :D :D

-Will have to get back to you on that one, it's been a very busy weekend.
I have my notes in my bag somewhere, will have a re-read and let you know :)
We did lose approx 2,000 feet during the manouver.

Coventry University run a trip to Cranfield to the National Flying Laboratory Centre for their Aerospace Systems students. However due to (surprisingly) low demand it was opened up to our course as well.
We drifted down there for about 10am. Cup of coffee and a pre-flight briefing/weighing session! Turns out im fatter than I thought I was!
The idea was to take readings from the various sensors around the aircraft in order to look at it's stick free stability, and its neutral point stability.
Just thought I'd fire a few pictures in now, and give a bit more of a detailed report when the screen stops being blurry.
Uhhhh...the aircraft!
View from my seat, showing the personal 10inch display screen, everyone had one...
Which for the depature and arrival showed a moving CAA chart!
One of our manouvers was a sustained turn at a bank angle of 60 degrees! Unbelieveable (i'd certainly never considered it) for a J31!

All in all a fantastic flight, 40 minutes of great fun. Certainly the most fun I've had in an aeroplane since the Lynx flight at RAF Aldergrove!
