Hi all
Rummaging thru me old holiday pics, i came across this one of an aircraft which flew us from Mombassa airport out to a game reserve in Kenya for a safari holiday in 1996. I remember there was a manufacturers ID type plate inside which said (as i recall) that it was built in 1969 and i seem to remember it was built by one of the old british aircraft companies like Shorts or De-Havilland or similar etc, etc.
Appols for not being more specific, but i would appreciate it if someone more knowledgable on such matters could identify and spec it up for me :)
Thanks in advance
Michael
PS i am the terrified looking one facing the camera in the white t-shirt. We had just had a *very* wobbly and bumpy landing and all of the Germans on board (the majority) burst out in tremendous applause before the aircraft had even come to a stop.
