How nice it is to see a Tristar in such good condition when most these days are rotting away. It's immaculate!

I wasnt aware that was still flying actually. Al Anwa have a 727 which spends a lot of time at Lasham. Its in an identical scheme to that Tristar, and the Gold stripe around the side of the aircraft is actual proper Gold Leaf. I wouldnt be at all surprised if it were the same on that Tristar as well.
          My recent and upcoming flights

that one in the pictures reminds me of the old royal jordanian one, and in fact may even be the same aircraft, it used to be the king of jordans personal aircraft, and the interior was something to behold!
just checkout the countermeasures equipment on the fairings behind each engine.

and yes there are plenty of tristars still flying, thr RAF still use them, there are a few in passenger service, but quite a few have been converted to freighters.

A regular around my normal French haunts as you can see - it was always great to see a well looked after (or even just a flying) Tristar - rare sights nowadays!

Indeed...Far too rare. Just about the only place I've regularly seen a Tristar is LIS. There always seems to be one there, but I've never seen it off the ground. Shame!

you should hang around cambridge airport, they are fairly regular visitors there.

Indeed, I was very happy to see an RAF Tristar arriving at EDI a couple of weeks ago, hadn't seen one in ages!

I remember earlier in the summer, I paid two visits to MAN, and saw three different Tristars! (Yes, Luzair and RAF). Always a great surprise, just so glad I was lucky enough to fly on one .

Fantastic looking bird! I have flown on a BA Tristar 500 series long ago and I have to say that it was an enjoyable flight!

That is a very nice looking plane. I have only been on a Tristar once with Air Transat.
