Cargo airships : Whats happening to them?

I remember a year or 2 ago there were various projects to develop huge lighter than air cargo lifters that can transport outsize structures towards their destinations cheaper and quicker than ships . Whatever happened to those pipedreams . Surely companies like Airbus could have easily capitalised on such technology especially with the logistical problems they are having with the A380's components . A large cargoship could solve the problems of say getting its wings from Broughton Wales to Toulouse France

Are you referring to something like this: http://www.atg-airships.com/ ? Don't know what stage they're at, but they look quite impressive (Isn't strictly 'civil' though!)

Everybody makes mistakes, that's why they put erasers on the ends of pencils.
