Oops! Anyone know if it survived it or if it got crippled like that Skyservice B763 that landed heavy on it's nose gear not too long ago?

Great shot. There was a great photo of an Antonov 124 landing in strong crosswinds a couple of days ago on Airliners.net. That was interesting.

Antonov's and a few other Russian aircraft use this technique in windy conditions, it is safe and poses no damage to the airframe.

Why don't Airbus and Boeing adopt this with their front nose gear! ;)

wow!! gee..it's a bit wierd for an aircraft to land that way...nevertheless, it's a great pic.
